The pad is filled with cherry pits from Michigan, washed and dried right after pitting.

For the ultimate in long-lasting comforting warmth, just microwave the heat pad for a few minutes and apply it to any areas of the body that could benefit from the gentle heat. You can also store your pit pack in the freezer if you prefer a cool pack.

While there is no added fragrance, you will notice a slight cherry almost woodsy fragrance from the natural fruit stones.

Machine washable and dry in the dryer!

The pad is approximately 7 x 9 inches.

For warm use: Heat the pillow in the microwave for an initial 30 seconds and check the temperature. If not hot enough, heat an additional 15 seconds and check again. Add 15 seconds at a time to get the pillow to the heat level desired. CAUTION: Pillows can get extremely hot in high heat and can burn the skin and eyes. Be sure not to overheat it before use. Test heat level indirectly first before placing on skin and eyes.

Use on your neck and shoulders, your knee, or your monthly cramps. Deliver hot warm moist heat to stiff necks, arthritic joints, migraines, menstrual cramps, and pulled or tight muscles. For cold therapy the wrap can be placed in a ziplac bag in the freezer for several hours, then removed from the plastic bag and applied to the desired area.
Chill in the freezer for a calming soothing cold pack that will help relieve inflammation, a fever, the pain of a sunburn, or a hot flush.
